Post pictures of your F-Body (or other car if it is really nice or interesting) here.

If you are new here, this is a good place to introduce yourself.

I had seen the article in the Houston Chronicle about the club and have found information on the site to be very helpfull.
I have a 99 Camaro SS with 9200 miles on it, no modifications and I am the original owner. Also have a 2010 Camaro SS but had to change the exhaust system from the cats back.
I put the Corsa system on which is something the car should have had from the factory.

Welcome aboard! I really like the SS. I'm a sucker for low mileage stock rides. Keep visiting the board and hopefully we'll see you next month!

Thanks guys, I wish the photos would have come out a little smaller as I thought they would have. I probably should have sent them to the Moderator for help on that.

The 2010 SS is a daily driver, The 99 get out every week, rain or shine just to keep the wheels moving and the battery charged. It has the top paint problem that troubled most of these models and I have never been able to find a good fix, other than replacing the top.
Sure like the red Trans Am, my last one was a 1975 and it served me well. Bought it new and sold it in 1992. Not too much on the HP but it was a fun ride.

Again, sorry about the photo size. I'm used to loading up eBay photos and they seem to come out just right.

I'll see what I can do about the photos.

They both are nice cars.
If it breaks, make it stronger.
If it doesn't, try harder.

Thanks for your help, I appreciate that.
I like the 82 Z-28 , I bought the first one sold from Norman Frede Chevrolet when they came out. They had just put their first two on the showroom floor and I bought it that day.
They were identical except for one had an 8-track and the other had a cassette. I went with the cassette.
Thanks again.

I didn't know you could get an '82 Camaro with an 8-track player! Did Pontiac offer one on the '82 Firebird or Trans Am?

I'm not sure about the Pontiac but I still have the window sticker from the 82 Z-28. I now remember I had them change the 8-track out for the cassette. Both cars in the showroom were maroon but the other one had the manual 4-speed that my wife couldn't drive, but it did have the cassette. Norman Frede changed it out with no problem. I still have a box of 8 tracks that I doubt would work but one last time.

Images resized.

8-track option? I never knew. Mine came with the Extended Range Sound System (ERSS). I still have the badging to prove it. It was an AM/FM radio with optional rear speakers. Woo Hoo!

I bought mine from A.J. Foyt Chevrolet in May of 1982...but if you check the VIN it is a V6 SC not a Z-28. But I'll put it up against any Z-28 out there (or anything else). I look forward to finding cars that can beat mine, in a straight line or around corners, it doesn't happen very often :)

BTW, have you ever raced your two?
Which one do you like more?
Would you care to compare and contrast?
