Yep thats the plan for now,

Get it running
Get it inspected,registered, and insured
Get good wheels and tires
Fix little miscellaneous things..
Get it painted (Hopefully before my 18th bday)

Then I will start toying with the idea of a turbo 350....

What are you driving now John, I heard you sold the Z?

got some advice for ya - dont even think turbo yet. My car was daily driver reliable, everything was great, was driving it 8 to 10k miles a year. I went turbo, it sat un-driven for 18 months, now if it sees 1500 miles a year its a miracle, and somethings always breaking/melting/etc.

Get that thing on the road, get it looking good, get the driveline in perfect order, then slap a v8 motor in it, then when your bored with that look at N2O or boost. Boost is a expensive pain in butt - sometimes I wish I just built the short block big cam, and hit it with a 200+ shot.

Thanks for the advice, I definitely will do a bunch of research before I do jump into any kind of forced induction and ill spam you with a crap load of questions lol but that is the goal I have set for the future for now...

What kills me the most is the fact that once I get this car running I wont be able to drive it anywhere (not legally) because I dont have a license (dont want to pay $350 for a stupid course) So subconsciously I keep looking for a way to make it so I cant drive it even If I wanted to.... Im gonna have to just tough it out or get into some trouble (already have one ticket pending) ;)

Oh and by the way my bro went and bought that 5.3 I mentioned earlier (bastard) lol hes got alot of work ahead of him more like we lol

Starting this project back up. Again. :D

The car has been sitting at my dads place for about 7 months now. The plan was to sell it and buy a nicer Thirdgen that needed less work. But on Tuesday my dad called me and told me my car had to GO. So Wednesday my cousin, my cousins awesome 4runner, my brother, and I went to pick it up.

Getting it running is of course the first thing I wish to accomplish...

Currently I am on the hunt for a 350 and Transmission

Also need a bunch of things for it to fit since it has a V6

Springs, motor mounts, new brake lines,V8 speedo, possibly a new radiator.

The goal is to have it running and driveable before or by my birthday in February. If all goes well financially hopefully I can have it plasti dipped and sitting on some new wheels and tires. I would be ecstatic if all this happened.

I have a set of cloth back seats in pretty good shape that I'll donate to the cause. They may not match your existing seats, but they should at least fit.
If it breaks, make it stronger.
If it doesn't, try harder.
